The new Science, Emerging Technology and Health Careers Center (opening fall 2004) is destined to attract bright minds for generations. Its 288,500 square feet will support 10 major academic programs with state-of-the-art classrooms, lecture halls, laboratories and computing centers. The amount of opportunity it provides is what’s immeasurable. When voters in the Northwest suburbs approved an $88.8 million referendum for the project, they sent Harper a clear message: prepare students for jobs in science, technology and health care.
