"The average starting salary of graduates of college technology programs has risen more than 24 percent over the past three years." - 3COM Chairman and CEO, Eric Benhamou

The NetPrep dual credit program allows you to earn high school and college credit while a junior or senior in high school. The NetPrep program dual credit courses cover the same topics as the first four courses of the college program and allow you to:
  • Earn up to 12 hours of college credit while also satisfying high school credit requirements
  • Transfer almost a full semester of college-level course work to Harper College, where you will be able to begin the last four of the core courses to achieve the Senior Network Technology certificate
  • Earn the NACSE Student Network Technician certificate signifying your readiness for immediate employment
  • Experience state-of-the-art curriculum and computer labs developed and supported by industry-leader 3COM and Harper College
  • Earn college credit, but pay no college tuition or book fees while in high school.
As a dual credit program, courses are open to high school students from Districts 211, 214 and 220. Students receive both high school credit and Harper College credit. The high school district pays tuition and fees for all courses. Students must enroll through the Shared Course Coordinator at their school. Books are supplied by the school districts for many of the courses. To enroll in the dual credit NetPrep Network Technology Program, contact your high school counselor.
