Adults 25 and older can complete an associate degree in two years by attending class one night a week for four hours!
While the Adult Fast Track Degree Program is concentrated and rigorous, it is manageable for individuals who are motivated and disciplined. This program is for adults 25 and older. It will help you meet your educational goals quickly and successfully.
This program provides a foundation in business and information technology skills in areas including communication, team participation, management, marketing, productivity tools, web development, programming logic, database and networking. Two-thirds of the courses in this degree have a business and technology focus and the other one-third come from general education requirements, such as English and math.
Graduates of the program may qualify for advancement in current jobs and for transfer into similarly constructed adult accelerated programs at four-year institutions. Most business and technology course requirements for this degree are taught either one at a time or in pairs for six to eight weeks.
The computer information systems courses emphasize a hands-on lab-based approach. Some computer information systems courses are offered in an online, Flexible Start, or hybrid (combination on online and classroom time) format. Classes meet one night a week from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with three vacation breaks a year.
