To accommodate the different lifestyles of Harper students, Computer Information Systems classes are offered in a variety of formats. Courses are offered in the traditional eight- and 16-week courses as well as two and four-day classes, Online courses, and the Flexible Start format.
The shortened courses offer the same amount of information and lab time as the traditional classes but are condensed into a shorter time-span to accommodate the student who cannot commit to a full 16 weeks.
The Flexible Start format allows a student to work at his/her own pace and is designed to accommodate the student who cannot commit a certain time block every week.
Other degree and certificate options are available in the computer information systems and microcomputer fields. Credits earned in the certificate programs may be applied to the associate degree programs.
This 25 credit-hour certificate program is designed to prepare students for employment as Help Desk personnel, computer desktop support technicians, and other computer support positions. Begin your training for a new career this semester!
