What kind of knowledge is required
to pass the certification exams?

| Visit the official Microsoft
Office Specialist website to get an idea of what knowledge the
different exams require. For example, a click on the Requirements
for Microsoft Office Specialist and a click on the desired exam, Microsoft
Word 2002 Core Exam for example, will display exam objectives.
Microsoft Word 2002 Core Exam Objectives:

Prerequisites: CIS125, OFC134 or equivalent knowledge or

CAS 210 – Word Expert Microsoft Office Specialist Certification
Prerequisites: CIS125, OFC201 or equivalent knowledge or

Excel Certification

Pre-registration is required. To register for a class (including
the exam) contact the Registrar's Office at (847) 925-6500.
When registering you must indicate that you are registering for
a late starting class if you register after the beginning of the
semester.
