Computer Forensics and Security

Computer Information Systems Computer Forensics and Security is a career program leading to an Associate in Applied Science degree. The technical curriculum trains students for positions in the distinct field of computer forensics and security. The curriculum includes coursework that will enable students to not only identify security threats but also take appropriate action to prevent the threats and trace/track these computer crimes. Graduates of the program may find employment as entry-level computer forensic specialists or computer security specialists.

General Course Information

male student using a computerCourses are offered in the evening, during the day, and online. Some courses may be offered in a condensed 8-week format to permit part-time students to meet their particular training needs and to reach an achievable goal within a reasonable time period.

Other degree and certificate options are available in the computer information systems field. Credits earned in the certificate programs may be applied to the associate degree programs.
