Pesticide Applicator Certificate
Graduates of this 17 credit-hour certificate program are prepared for employment
or promotion in the application of chemicals used to prevent pest infestation
or eradicate pests from landscape and turf areas. An Illinois Pesticide
Applicator or Pesticide Operators license is also required prior to applying
pesticides. The student is prepared to take licensing tests through this
course of study; however, such tests are only available through the State
of Illinois Department of Agriculture, and are, therefore, not an integral
part of this program.
