CNC/CAM Technician Certificate
This 21 credit-hour certificate program allows for in-depth course work
in computer numerical control, (CNC) and computer-aided manufacturing
(CAM). Many aspects of manufacturing are supported by computer applications,
including process planning, tool selection, program generation, and machine
control. The following courses provide the educational background to perform
these tasks in an industrial setting.
The recommended program is expected to meet the needs of the majority
of students. For special educational needs, alternate plans of study may
be approved by the program coordinator.
