Associate in Applied Science Degree
This program is designed to serve the needs of men and women in criminal
justice organizations at the local, state and federal levels, and to prepare
others to enter this service. Opportunities for graduates include positions
as police, corrections, or security officers and they may qualify for juvenile,
investigative, crime prevention, or other duties with those agencies. Those
wishing to continue in specialized areas or who seek a baccalaureate degree
should see an academic advisor for course/program selection.

- Students may take CRJ 203 with approval of program coordinator.
- A competency test, available in the Assessment and Testing Center, may be utilized to meet the mathematics requirement. Students who utilize the competency test to meet the mathematics requirement must complete a three credit-hour elective.
- Choose from PSC 101 or PSC 220, PSY 101 or SOC 101.
