Curricula leading to the associate in applied science degree are for students
planning to follow a career program to prepare for employment.
A certificate program is a sequence of courses in a specialized academic
and/or technical area requiring approximately two or three years of part-time
or one year full-time course work. Completion of the course work required
for a specific program with a grade point average of 2.0 (C) or higher entitles
the student to a certificate of achievement in that field of specialization.
Courses in certificate programs are offered in the evening as well as during
the day to permit part-time evening students to meet their particular training
needs and to reach an obtainable goal within a reasonable period of time.
All courses creditable toward a certificate are also applicable toward an
associate degree. For additional information contact Admissions
at 847.925.6707 (e-mail: admissions@harpercollege.edu).
