1. Completion of
the associate in fine artsmusic degree does not fulfill the requirements
of the Illinois General Education core curriculum. After transfer, associate
in fine artsmusic
students will need to complete the general education requirements of
the institution to which they transfer.
2. All music majors
must demonstrate piano proficiency; MUS 165, 166 and 265 may be passed
by proficiency exam. Music majors are also advised to take MUS 100 as
part of their elective credit.
3. Credit will not
be granted for both MGT 225 and MTH 165.
Note: No more than
two GEG and two HST courses (except HST 105) may be used to fulfill
Groups 1-5.
