C Building

The art department is housed in two locations on the main campus. The two-dimensional art studios are on the second floor of the New Student Services and Art Center (Building C). These include the drawing, design and painting studios. Specialized labs for printmaking and computer graphics are also located there. Display areas are located in the upper hallways of Buildings C and P.

The Liberal Arts Center

The Liberal Arts Center (Building L) houses state-of-the-art, three dimensional art studios and a two-dimensional design studio. Specialized facilities include ceramics, kiln, glaze and throwing wheel rooms, a wood shop, a metals welding and fabrication facility, a plaster room and a paint spray facility. In addition, a protected outdoor work area enables students to explore raku firing, small casting in metal and large carving and welding. Display areas are located throughout the lower hallways of Building L.

Art Exhibition Space

The exhibition space is located in the New Student Services and Art Center, Room C200. The six hundred square foot room is comprised of about eighty-five running feet of display walls at nine feet high. Floor to ceiling windows comprise the north-facing wall. A wide variety of presentation formats from conventional two-dimensional and three-dimensional work to video, performance and installation can be accommodated.
