Edwin L. Kemp III
Festival Chorus
Edwin Kemp received his Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees from Northwestern University where he studied voice with Hermanus Baer and conducting with John Paynter. He has sung leading roles in operas and oratorios throughout the Chicago area and also studied for three years at the Musikakademie in Detmold, Germany, where he founded and conducted the Detmold Garrison Choir. He previously taught voice at the Chicago Conservatory College and is currently the choral director at the North Shore United Methodist Church.
