Tom received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education from Western Illinois University, and Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees in Choral Music from Arizona State University. Stauch has studied in master classes with Helmuth Rilling, Randall Thompson, Albert McNeil Robert Shaw and numerous other conductors. He is also the Director of Liturgical Music at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Elgin where he directs the Adult and Children's Choirs and coordinates the entire music program. Stauch is a life member of the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) where he has held numerous leadership positions including the National Board of Directors, Central Division President, the National Repertoire and Standards Committee and the Chair of the National Two-Year College Repertoire and Standards Committee. He is in demand as a soloist and has been a studio vocalist on a number of CD recordings and music industry projects.
