Peter Aglinskas

Peter is an adjunct member of the applied guitar faculty in the Music Department at Harper College. He holds a Master of Music degree in Composition from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Music degree from De Paul University.Having composed and recorded music ranging from symphonic, to operatic to rock and funk, Peter Aglinskas has written many scores for theater and was nominated twice for the Joseph Jefferson Award in the category of Best Original Musical Score. He has been a composer and guitarist in such notable and varied Chicago musical ensembles as The Loop Group, David Hernandez and Street Sounds, and Kapture.
Peter is also an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Fine Arts of Loyola University Chicago, where he teaches music theory, guitar, and conducts the guitar ensemble.
