Sang Eun Lee
Violin
Sang Eun Lee received her training at the Eastman School of Music, where she earned a Bachelor's degree (with distinction). She also completed a Master's degree at the Peabody Institute where she was Shirley Givens' teaching assistant. Besides Givens, Lee's teachers also include Almita and Roland Vamos and Zvi Zeitlin. She has performed as a member of several symphony orchestras, including the Pacific Music Festival in Sapporo, Japan, and the Fairfax Symphony Orchestra in Virginia. She currently plays with the Elgin and Northwest Symphony Orchestras in the Chicago area while maintaining a busy teaching schedule.
