Guitar Audition Requirements!
Music major level
Basic skills: understanding music notation.
1.
Demonstrate all diatonic and chromatic notes in first position.
2. Play major and minor triads in first position.
3. One movement from the following (or of comparable or greater difficulty): Sor, From 20 Studies; Carulli, Etudes; or Carcassi, Estudios;
All auditions are by appointment. To obtain an audition appointment please complete the Department of Music Supplemental Application.
