It is my pleasure to introduce you to the Department of Music at Harper College.
Harper College has a vibrant and growing music department that offers the first two years of musical training in music theory, history, applied music, and the opportunity to participate in a range of ensembles. In short, the department has exactly what you will need to begin your career in music. Our graduates go on to finish at colleges and universities throughout the nation and from there to exciting careers in performance, teaching, and related musical fields.
As the Dean of Liberal Arts, I am here to make sure your educational experience is student-centered and rewarding. However, the best part of my job is to attend musical convocations, concerts, and recitals in which you and your colleagues will perform!!!You will meet new friends as well as a highly talented teaching faculty.
