An independent federal agency making recommendations to the
President and Congress on issues affecting 54 million Americans
with disabilities. Includes a monthly update bulletin of activities.
NIMH, National Institute of Mental Health

for researchers on specific areas of disability.

Rehabilitation Services Administration
Under the auspices of the Office of Special Education and
Rehabilitative Service, United States Department of Education,
RSA provides national leadership for, and administration of,
service projects and rehabilitation training discretionary
grant programs, the Randolph-Sheppard vending facilities and
Helen Keller National Center programs.

National Organization on Disability
The mission of the National Organization on Disability (N.O.D.) is to expand the participation and contribution of America’s 54 million men, women and children with disabilities in all aspects of life. By raising disability awareness through programs and information, together we can work toward closing the participation gaps.

The Center for Independent Living (CIL) is a national leader in helping people with disabilities live independently and become productive, fully participating members of society.
