Mr. Azad received his BS degree in Physics from
Tehran University, BS and MS degrees in Accounting and Financial
Science from Tabaa University, and a MS degree in Mathematics from
Northeastern Illinois University. In addition, he has completed several
coursework in mathematics field.
Mr. Azad began his association as an adjunct
member of the Mathematics Department at Harper College in the 1992. He
has taught mathematics and physics for over 25 years. He has been
teaching at Harper in a full time position since 2001.
Prior to year 2001, Mr. Azad worked in a full time
position at Harper College as “Area Coordinator for Mathematics
and Science” of the Tutoring Center.
Professionally, Mr. Azad has been a member of the
Mathematical Association of America (MAA), the American Mathematical
Society (AMS), American Mathematical Association of Two-Year Colleges
(AMATYC), Illinois Council of Teachers of Mathematics (ICTM), the
Illinois Mathematics Association of Community Colleges (IMACC), and
Metropolitan Mathematics club of Chicago (MMC) for several years. He
was nominated for inclusion in the 7th, 8th,, 9th, and 10th editions of
“who’s who Among America’s Teachers”.
