Sunil Koswatta received his Ph. D. from Bowling Green State University in mathematics. He has worked at Kent State University as an Assistant Professor before coming to Harper.

Sunil also has a Masters degree in Physics. He had worked on a special project for the National Bureau of Standards in Sri Lanka to fulfill his Baccalaureate Degree requirements at University of Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Sunil has been working with Professor Hung-Hsi Wu of University of California at Berkeley since 2002 and was helpful when Wu conducted several workshops for K-12 teachers on number theory, geometry, pre-algebra, and algebra. This work continues with another workshop for elementary school teachers on number theory at MSRI in the summer of 2008.

Sunil Koswatta is a Professor at Harper College.
