South America: Regions

Tthe authors of our textbook have divided South America into four regions [smreg]:

1. Brazil
2. The Andean West
3. The Caribbean North
4. The Mid-Latitude South

For each region we will briefly review the physical, cultural, economic and historical geography (the four themes).

It would be also be useful to now examine why they selected these regions by applying the same four themes.
