The first exam will constitute 25 % of your final grade.It will cover Chapters: 1, 2, 3, 4, 10, and the language and religion chapter (book)
You must take the exam in the Harper College Assessement (Testing) Center (See Schedule). You will need a picture ID.
The exam WILL take well over an hour. Plan to have enough time. The Center closes on time - they will not wait for you to finish.
The exam will consist of approximately 40 multiple choice questions and 4 or 5 essay/short answer/problem-type questions.
The exam questions will be based on the following:
- the chapter activities
- the chapter vocabulary
- the chapter readings (including the introduction to each chapter and the activitiy background material = all the reading.)

- Study the textbook like you would study your notes from a regular on-campus face-to-face course.
