There are three required assignments. They are designed to prepare you for the unit exams AND to make you begin to think like a geographer.. You may want to review the introductory online lecture on "What is geography?". The study of geography requires that we know WHERE things are, and more importantly, WHY THEY ARE THERE. The "things" that geographers study can be almost anything that has a spatial component. Hopefully these assignments will make you examine the WHY question and will show you the usefulness of the spatial perspective.
Click on the "PAPERS" link on our Blackboard siteWrite your assignment, save in the RICH TEXT FORMAT (.rtf) and ATTACH using the "View/Complete Assignment" link. You will then have to attach your paper using the "Attach local file" box.
