Policies and Procedures

The tutors assigned here to help you are paid by Harper College, and there is no cost to you. These policies ensure that students are served in an effective manner.

1. Be on time for your appointment.
   
   
2. Be prepared by bringing books, notes and questions. Be sure to read the assigned material. Have specific questions prepared for the tutor.
   
   
3. To cancel or reschedule an appointment call at least three hours in advance.
   
   Call your BY APPOINTMENT ONLY tutor directly for canceling or rescheduling your appointment.
   
   
4. Late Cancellation: if you cancel your appointment less than three hours in advance you will be recorded as a late cancel. If you have two late cancels, you will forfeit your right to make appointments for that subject for the rest of the semester. However, you may use the service a on walk-in basis.
   
   
5. No Show Policy: If you do not show up and do not notify us in advance, you will be recorded as a no show. If you have one no show, you will forfeit your right to make an appointment for that subject for the rest of the semester. However, you may use the service on a walk-in basis.
