Dovetail a subordinating conjunction (after, although, as, as if, as though, because, before, even if, even though, how, if, in order that, rather than, once, since, so, than, that, thought, till, unless, until, when, where, wherever, why ) to an independent clause to make it dependent, then connect that to the remaining (independent) clause. Voila, one complete sentence! Add a cup of friendship, a teaspoon of sunshine and three drops of the milk of human kindness... oops, that's the recipe for nausea.
