Library Marketing Committee
The Library Marketing Committee promotes Library services primarily to students, staff and faculty. We create brochures on our services and distribute them all over campus. We design products like hacky sacks pens, book bags, sticky notes and sport bottles for student appreciation days.  We coordinate events such as the campus-wide Voter Registration Drive. The library environment/facility is also important to us; we make improvements in seating, shelving and signage quite frequently.  We answer all of the suggestion box questions. (Chair, 2001-2007)

Library Facilities Committee - Investigate space use and possible renovations, while incorporating additional RFL services on the library's 1st floor.

Previous Committee Work

Intellectual Property and Copyright - This is a contract committee appointed to create a policy and procedure manual for the College, per the side letter to the faculty agreement (2006/2010).

Institutional Planning Committee (IPC).  I am presently serving my fifth year on the IPC. At one point I co-Chaired the committee with another faculty. The purpose of the Institutional Planning Committee is to research, discuss, review, evaluate and make recommendations related to College planning. The committee is responsible for the process and content of the Strategic Long Range Plan and reviews various components annually to approve revisions in structure, process, focus and content.  (Secretary FY05, FY04, FY03; co-chair FY06.)

Higher Learning Commission Task Force, member.

• FY08 - I am coordinating an analysis of faculty participation in materials ordering. We are measuring the number of items ordered and the number of participants.
   
• FY07- I coordinated an analysis of faculty participation in materials ordering. We measured the number of items ordered and the number of participants.
   
• FY06 - Assisted in conducting a website usability study. The study examined the responses of both students and faculty when asked to answer questions using the Library website. Based on the results, we have improved the terminology, accessibility and user friendliness of our current site.
   
• FY05 - RFL Coordinator. Conducted a student and faculty satisfaction survey.
