Harper College will accept proposals for a broker/consultant who has the resources and capacity to provide employee benefits services for the college (Specification and Contract Q01219), until 2:00 p.m. Central Time on February 11, 2026.

Harper College is seeking a broker to provide the College with professional insurance broker services for a comprehensive insurance benefit program to its approximately 750 benefit-eligible employees. These benefits eligible employees include 4 different unions and 3 non-union groups.
The scope of the project includes but is not limited to the following benefit programs: Medical, Dental, Vision and Life insurance.
Pre-bid meeting (non-mandatory):
A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Central Time on Tuesday,
January 21, 2026, via Webex whereby all interested bidders are encouraged to attend
and sign into the meeting.

Interested parties may contact the Purchasing Department for the Request for Proposals documents. Questions should be addressed to at purchasing@harpercollege.edu. The last day to submit questions is January 22, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. Central Time. Questions received after this time may not receive a written response.
Offers may not be withdrawn for a period of 90 days after the closing date without the consent of the Board of Trustees.
Any responses submitted unsealed, unsigned, fax transmissions, or received after the deadline to submit proposals may be disqualified and returned to the submitter.
Bidders shall comply with Business Enterprise Program: Participation and Utilization Plan developed by Harper College. There is a 5 percent aspirational goal on this contract.
Harper College reserves the right to reject all Proposals or parts thereof, waive any irregularities or informalities in the Request for Proposals (RFP) procedures, and award the contract in a manner best serving the interest of the College.
