What's happening

The Harper College’s Marketing Communication and Information Technology web teams are collaborating to switch the domain for the main College website from https://www.harpercollege.edu to https://www.harpercollege.edu.

As part of this project, webpages that currently reside on the INFO8 server that have a web address that begins with www.harpercollege.edu will be moved to a new Azure server. All updates to INFO8 will be frozen on Thursday, December 14. INFO8 sites that reside at other subdomains (such as dept.harpercollege.edu) will be unaffected and will be able to resume INFO8 access later in the week of December 18.

After the switch, users who had previously accessed INFO8 will be able to update their site through OU Campus. Users will receive an email from OU Campus with information about setting up an account. Additional information and training on updating your website through OU Campus will be available soon. Check back for more information.

No content changes will be made during the switch. All sites will be moved “as is” and users/departments will continue to be responsible for maintaining their websites, including updating content, resolving broken links and other issues, and meeting accessibility standards.

As part of this update, the public website will be switched to a secure protocol (https) in accordance with best practices. When the change is done, the URL for Harper College’s main website will be: https://www.harpercollege.edu

Check this page for updates as the project progresses, or contact Patrick Kelly, Web Content Manager, pkelly@harpercollege.edu, ext. 6125 for more information.
