Harper Fashion Studies student garments hit the runway in Rome

Katsiaryna Piatsevich and Natalia Rojas Soto were selected to represent Harper College at the prestigious Fashion & Talents fashion show in Rome with the collections they produced for the 2025 Fashion Show: Cyberscapes: Align with the Future

The site of Fashion & Talents show was the Piazza di Spagna a plaza in the center of Rome and at the heart of the luxury shopping district. Iconic high-end luxury jewelers and fashion houses such as Bulgari, Cartier, Rolex, Gucci, Versace, Missoni, Fendi, Prada, Armani and Valentino have boutiques nearby. The Piazza di Spagna is also home of the famous Spanish Steps one of the cultural touchstones of the city where locals and tourists alike come to see and be seen.

Acedemia del Lusso selects only one international partner institute each year to participate in their distinguished fashion show and Harper College was chosen due to the outstanding work of Katsiaryna and Natalia. The event showcases garments from Academia del Lusso students including collections from six students graduating from the four-year fashion program.

Nupur Sharma, Fashion Studies Coordinator who attended the show in Rome remarked “Our Italian counterparts were impressed by the quality of Katsiaryna and Natalia’s collections, especially after they realized the Harper program is only two years long compared to four years at the Academia del Lusso.”
