Bryan TippsBryan Tipps holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Jazz Studies from Roosevelt University and a Master’s Degree in Jazz Studies from DePaul University. He has played with many of Chicago’s finest jazz ensembles including the Rob Parton Jazztech Big Band, The City Lights Orchestra, The Chicago Jazz Orchestra, and The Rob Parton Big Band and has also performed alongside Toshiko Akiyoshi, David Liebman, Paul Anka, Phil Woods, and Michael Feinstein, and Johnny Mathis to name a few. He can be heard on Rob Parton’s Jazztech Big Band’s recording “Two Different Days” and the DePaul CD/DVD project “Solitude” featuring Phil Woods.

He has performed at many of Chicago’s well-known music venues and festivals including The Jazz Showcase, The Green Mill, Andy’s Jazz Club, The Auditorium Theater, The Chicago Center for the Performing Arts, and The Chicago Jazz Festival.
