Campus Recreation Virtual Fun Run and Walk

Join us on Saturday, April 11 to get up, get moving and stay active!

We want to encourage you to complete a 3.1 mile run or walk outside or in your home on Saturday, April 11. Once you complete your workout, simply comment and, share a photo of your workout, on our "How was your workout today?" post located on our Facebook page @HarperCampusRec. Once you complete your activity and comment on the post you will be entered into a drawing to win a Fit Bit Inspire Fitness Tracker. Just because we are "staying home" doesn't mean you can't move and stay fit. 

Official Campus Recreation Virtual Workout Challenge Rules and Eligibility

Eligibility: Harper College Department of Campus Recreation Virtual Workout Challenge drawing is open to persons at least eighteen (18) years of age, and who have a valid Facebook account at the time of entry. 

To enter, an entrant must be a registered user of Facebook. If an entrant is not a registered user of this site, the entrant must visit to register for free. Registration for and use of the Facebook platform is subject to its terms and conditions. This drawing is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook.

Promotion Period: Promotion begins at 5 a.m. and ends at 11 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2020 and ends at 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 5, 2018, when all entries must be received (“Promotion Period”).

How to enter: Participants on Facebook can comment (and share a photo of your workout) on our "How was your workout today?" post on Saturday, April 11, 2020 between 5 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. to win a Fit Bit Inspire Fitness Tracker.

How we will select the winner: An online random number generator will be used to select a random number. That number will determine which Facebook comment on the "How was your workout today?" post– from first comment to last comment by the closing time of the challenge – will be chosen to win. The winner will be notified through Facebook by sending a direct message.

Notification and selection of the winner: No later than 4:00 p.m. on Monday, April 13, 2020. We will notify the winner by sending a direct message to their Facebook account. We will request an email address to verify and collection details of the prize to the winner. 

Odds of Winning and Collecting Prizes: The odds of winning each prize is dependent entirely on the number of entries received immediately prior to the drawing.

Collection of the prize: The winner shall collect his/her prize from Harper College Palatine campus, Campus Recreation, Building M at 1200 Algonquin Rd, Palatine, IL 60067.  Because all prizes must be collected in person from the Harper College Palatine campus, Campus Recreation, Building M, there are no shipping or handling fees or charges associated with collecting the prize. The prize will be collected on a designated date and time once the campus has reopened.

General rules: Limit one (1) entry per person/email address/Facebook ID for the duration of the promotion. Entries submitted from any person/email address/Facebook ID in excess of the stated limitation will be void. All entries become the property of Administrator and will not be returned or verified. Entries generated by script, macro, or other automated or mechanical means or that subverts the entry process will be void.
