Intramural E-Gaming Leagues

Join the competition from home! Rocket League, FIFA 20, NBA 2K19, and Madden NFL 20! Must provide your own equipment to participate. Each week we will have a new single elimination tournament that begins on Thursday at 4 p.m. and continues through Sunday until 12 p.m. Winners will be announced Sunday evenings.

Note: Open to currently enrolled Harper Students and Faculty/Staff. You must use your Harper email to register on www.IMLeagues.com.

Rule 1: Player Eligibility and Registration

Player Eligibility

Currently enrolled Harper College students and faculty/staff with a Harper College email (@mail.harpercollege.edu or @harpercollege.edu). The Assistant Director of Operations and Special Events shall make the final decision on eligibility issues.

Registration

Step 1

  • Each player will be required to activate their free account on IMLeagues.com or download the app. Players must have a @mail.harpercollege.edu or @harpercollege.edu email.
  • Each player will create their “Team” on IMLeagues
    depending on the game, each team will be composed of one or two players If the game has two players, one player will create their “Team” on IMleagues and the other player will join that team.
    Players must register for each week separately; you are not automatically enrolled for the next week.

Step 2

  • Each player will be required to activate their free account on Groupme.com or download the app. GroupMe is an app or web-based website that will allow all players to:
    • Receive direct, quick updates from the Assistant Director of Operations and Special Events.
    • Report their scores at the end of their games.
    • Contact their opponent to set up a time to play their games.
    • Provide a free and alternative way to “text” communicate without needing to provide their personal cell phone numbers.

Registration must be completed within the designated timeframe. Late registrations will not be accepted.

Rule 2: Communications

  • All players will be notified via email and GroupMe.
  • Players can also check IMLeagues.com or the IMLeagues app if they are advancing in the tournament and who their opponent will be
  • The times listed on the IMLeagues bracket is not the designated game time. The team captain, teammate, and opponents will determine when they will play your game. However, game play must be done within the timeline specified in the “Game Completion Timeline”.
