The 50-hour Pharmacy Technician Digital Badge program will prepare you to pass the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) exam, required in the state of Illinois within two years of becoming employed as a technician. As a technician, you can work under the supervision of a registered pharmacist in hospitals, home infusion pharmacies, community pharmacies or other health care settings. Learn the medical terminology specific to pharmacies as well as how to read and interpret prescriptions and define drugs by generic and brand names.
