5:30-7:30 Virtual Screening of Rear Window (1954)

Watch Rear Window (1954) online before our commentary and discussion session. This Alfred Hitchcock directed classic stars Jimmy Stewart and Grace Kelly in this Hitchcock-directed classic (currently ranked 48th by the AFI). Registrants are not required to attend the commentary and discussion session. RSVP for this event. 

7:45-9:00 Rear Window (1954) Commentary and Discussion

Join Harper's resident cinema expert Peter Aglinskas for commentary and discussion on Rear Window. In addition to teaching Music at Harper, Peter Aglinskas leads film courses through Harper's Community Education program. See the film through an expert's eyes and discuss your experience with your fellow retirees. Registrants are not required to attend the virtual screening session. RSVP for this event.

9-10   Basic PC Skills Virtual Class

Learn basic computer skills from a Harper trainer in this informative session. There will be time to ask your questions and get them answered by an expert. 10-11 Virtual Tour of the Cultural Center

Harper College opened its new Cultural Center in Building D in November 2021. Learn about how the Cultural Center will develop a sense of belonging among students and employees in this session. Enjoy a video tour and a Q&A with Center Manager Brittany Barber. RSVP for this event.

11-12  State of the College and Q&A with President Dr. Avis Proctor

Harper President Dr. Avis Proctor will share the latest news and answer audience questions during this virtual session. Registrants will have the opportunity to share their questions to be answered by Dr. Proctor both in advance and during the session. RSVP for this event. 

12-1   Walk the Track in Building M*

Get moving by walking Harper's indoor track. Usually reserved for Health &  Recreation Center members, enjoy special Harper HEART Day access. Attendees must sign a waiver at the Building M front desk for entry, wear a mask, and show proof of vaccination in accordance with the Cook County mandate. RSVP for this event.

1-2     Chair Yoga (In-Person* or Virtual)

Join Harper employee Cat Boskovic for Chair Yoga. Find inner peace while gaining strength and flexibility. Attend either in-person or online. In-person attendance is limited and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. In-person attendees must sign a waiver at the Building M front desk for entry, wear a mask, and show proof of vaccination in accordance with the Cook County Mandate. RSVP for this event.

3-4     Keychain Giveaway in the IDEAShop, H-130

Grab your Harper-made keychain and learn more about the ways you and your students can bring     
dreams to life in the IDEAShop. Register for your preferred time to help us maintain social distancing.

*In accordance with Cook County COVID-19 mitigation measures, attendees at Harper College Educational Foundation events are required to:

1) wear masks at all times, and;
2) where food and beverage are served must present proof of vaccination and ID upon arrival at the event. A photo of the vaccine card is acceptable along with a photo ID. Guests who cannot show proof of vaccination and ID will not be allowed into the event.
