Learn about the history of chocolate from its ancient beginnings in Meso-America to the modern day. This presentation will focus on how the cultural value and production process of chocolate has changed over the centuries. A timeline of how chocolate evolved as an ingredient will also be explored.
Joyce White is a food historian with an M.A. in American Studies from Penn State University. She provides presentations, tastings, consultation services, and writes articles on a variety of food topics.
