News Feed - Slider Four
This component adds a slider that shows the four most recent news stories. To add this component to your site, click on the Components icon in the page editor toolbar (the icon looks like an atom diagram). Choose News Feed - Slider Four.
Note: It usually looks better to create the component in a full-width container. Containers can be enabled/configured in the Page Layout section of the Properties menu by choosing "Full-width" and entering "no-padding" in the Style box.
Component Form Fields
Tags: Enter the tags(s) for the articles you want to pull. Note that the posts will also need to have those tags. In the example below is pulling posts tagged as "alumni-spotlight". You can add more than one tag, separated by commas (no spaces).
Section Heading: Enter the title that appears above the news feed. Ex. "Alumni News"
Intro Text: Enter a one or two sentence introduction for the news feed. This can contain links and other formatting.
Call to Action: This text appears after the snippet and will be the same for all items in the feed. Currently, the two options are "Read More" or "Watch the Video"
Snippet: For a more compact view, such as a feed in a partial-width container, you can display the thumbnail image and headline with out the snippet or call-to-action.
Arrows: You can remove the arrows. This is good for news feeds where there are four or fewer posts available.
Remove Intro Boxes: Check both boxes to remove intro text.
Alumni News
You can add intro text. The intro text can contain links and other kinds of formatting.
