Harper College offices will be closed Monday, September 2 in observance of Labor Day.
The Harper Symphony Orchestra (HSO) performs under the talented direction of Benjamin Firer and is comprised of Harper students (regardless of major) and community members. The group's four-concert season is performed from October through May and includes an impressive range of orchestral literature and features collaborations with soloists of national and international renown.
Auditions for ensembles will happen on the first day of class, and are intended to help with part placement. Prepare three to five minutes of a standard concerto or solo work. At the discretion of the conductor, sight reading may be included as part of the audition.
