Harper College

Makerspace and Entrepreneur Center COVID Response

In March, the Makerspace became crazy busy making Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) for front-line workers battling the COVID-19 pandemic. We put our equipment and amazing network of partners to work to address the PPE shortage crisis. So far, we've made and donated over 3,000 face shields; made over 8,000 visors for our face shield partnership with high school district 214 and much more. We appreciate all the support our college, partners and the community has given us on this special project and we hope we saved lives.
