Harper College will be closed Friday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day.
The Harper College Igniting Paths to Success Scholarship Programs offers the opportunity to appeal missed criteria in the event of extraordinary circumstances. Extraordinary circumstances are defined as significant events that were unforeseen and completely out of the student's control. Examples of extraordinary circumstances may include, but are not limited to: death in the family, serious accident, sudden extended illness, mental health illness, unexpected prolonged transportation issue.
The appeal process takes place after final grades post for the semester. Students will receive their eligibility email with information on how to appeal.
The appeal form will become available on this site during the appeal timeframe. The following is required when appealing:
For all current Ignite students, an email will be sent to your Harper Email account after final grades have posted. This email will include the profess for filing an appeal for extraordinary circumstances.
Tuesday, May 23rd – The Ignite Appeal Form becomes available
Thursday, May 25th – Eligibility email sent to all Ignite students
Wednesday, May 31st - Appeals due by 11:59p
Tuesday, June 6th – Appeal decisions will be sent to students
The appeal form for the Spring 2023 semester Is now closed. Appeal decisions will be sent to the student's Harper email address no later than Tuesday, June 6th.
