The Harper College Clay Guild will once again hold its winter pottery sale, offering the public a chance to shop for unique handmade gifts.
The sale, featuring professional-quality art at bargain prices, runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, November 20, and Thursday, November 21, in the main concourse of the Avanté Center.
Original items made by local artisans and students range from plates, mugs and vases to wall décor, garden sculptures, jewelry and more. Cash and personal checks will be accepted as payment.
Harper regularly offers credit courses and Continuing Education classes in ceramics. The programs draw a variety of students of all ages from art majors to community members looking to explore and expand their creativity.
