The Harper College Board of Trustees has officially welcomed two new members. Community College District 512 voters in April elected Eric Knox, of Rolling Meadows, and James Meyer, of Palatine, to serve six-year terms. As part of the board’s April 28 organizational meeting, Trustees Knox and Meyer were sworn in and the board voted for Chair Bill Kelley, Vice Chair Walt Mundt and Secretary Nancy Robb to continue in their respective officer roles.
Outgoing Trustee Greg Dowell was honored with a resolution from the Harper College Board of Trustees and designated as trustee emeritus at the April meeting. Outgoing Trustee Greg Dowell, who served on the board for 14 years, was honored with a resolution and designated as trustee emeritus. The board also presented a resolution to former Student Trustee Liman Lei, whose successor is newly elected Student Trustee Adekunbi Aransiola. Former Trustee Herb Johnson will be recognized at the May board meeting.
