Harper College is closed Friday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth National Freedom Day.
The “Reimagined: Old Hollywood” theme pays homage to the glamour, elegance, and cinematic drama of the Golden Age of Hollywood (1920s–1960s), while infusing it with modern sensibilities and innovation. It blends vintage glamour with contemporary twists—taking inspiration from iconic stars like Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, and Marlon Brando, but interpreting their classic looks with fresh silhouettes, new textiles, and bold styling.
The Harper College annual fashion show brings together the work of construction students from the Fashion Design program who create the garments and the merchandising students from the Promotion of Fashion class who produce the show which includes coordinating the models, make up, hair, music, choreography, set design VIP event and publicity.
