Philosophy Learning Labs

Most of the Philosophy Department's classes on campus take place in Philosophy Learning Labs—classrooms designated specifically for philosophy courses.

These classrooms are designed for active learning, with tables instead of individual desks and portable whiteboards at each table. They feature softer lighting to create a more welcoming environment for collaboration. Philosophical resources—such as primary source materials, reference guides, and textbooks—are also included to help formulate ideas.
