Learning and Career Center in Prospect Heights

Career certificate programs, foundational English classes (ELA), and High School Equivalency (HSE) courses have resumed on our Prospect Heights campus. Registration has opened for ELA and HSE courses that begin in August. 

Our building will be closed from July 2nd to July 17th. We will continue to provide services remotely during that time.

Jump start your career with these short programs that give you hands-on experience. Classes are offered during the day and evening. Scholarships and other financial aid options are available. Students have free use of computers, library, WiFi and more.

All classes are held at the Learning and Career Center in Prospect Heights. Easily accessible from Prospect Heights, Wheeling and surrounding areas.


Immigration Legal Assistance Available:

Harper College is offering free, confidential virtual appointments for Immigration Legal Assistance every Thursday this June. We are able to offer these services in English, Spanish, Polish, and Korean. Visit here for more information.

Learn everything you need to prepare for Illinois CDL A Licensure in either the 160 hour or 240 hour Commercial Truck Driving course.

  • The 160 hour course includes all of the minimum Illinois CDL A licensure requirements.
  • The 240 hour course includes minimum licensure requirements and additional instruction, yard, and road skill training.

We are closed on weekends and holidays.
