Harper College offices will be closed Monday, September 2 in observance of Labor Day.
Harper College’s Law Enforcement and Justice program is hosting its first annual Police Career Fair to create opportunities for attendees to network with more than 25 area law enforcement agencies.
The career fair will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 7, in Building A on the college’s main campus, 1200 W. Algonquin Rd., Palatine.
Attendees will speak with various law enforcement officers to learn more about a career in policing. They’ll also discuss potential employment opportunities with the various agency representatives.
Event organizer and Assistant Professor Brad Grossman said the networking opportunity will be both educational and inspiring for attendees as they meet with the people who have answered the call to serve in this noble profession.
It’s recommended that attendees be at least 16 years old.
