Harper College is closed Friday, July 3, for Independence Day (Observed).
Student Engagement came up with the idea to link the Harper’s Bizarre Fashion Club to a visual merchandising industry expert to benefit the Bookstore. They invited veteran window display professional Molly Murretes from Amlings to a design session where she shared tips for creating impactful displays and guided students to develop a three mannequin concept for the window. Students worked to create a portrait of a successful Harper graduate alongside two current students wearing Harper merch. Ideas for potential graduation gifts were positioned around the “students” to entice potential buyers into the store. Additional graduation props in Harper colors set the celebratory mood.

What do we have to work with? Checking out the display window.
