After taking a break from college to work in retail sales, Marc Klemencic realized he was capable of more than he once knew.
A minor scheduling conflict at his former place of work became the turning point that pushed him to return to Harper College, where he found the support that changed both his academic mindset and future career path. What began as a second chance quickly became the start of a successful career in human resources and organizational development, eventually leading him to his current role as vice president of talent management at AAR Corp., an aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul provider Marc describes as the number one provider of its kind in North America.
In this role, he has dedicated himself to helping others grow by leading programs that support employee development, mentoring interns and creating a culture centered around connection and opportunity.
