The Global Scholar Distinction is a graduation honor designed to promote, acknowledge,
and reward individual students’ real, life-changing growth in the areas of international
or intercultural education during their studies at Harper College. A student who earns
the Global Scholar Distinction will meet the following requirements: a) Grade of C
or better in 9 hours of interdisciplinary academic coursework; b) Minimum 2.0 cumulative
GPA (Grade Point Average); c) Complete a capstone project in CAP201, our Social Transformation
Capstone Course.
