GENEALOGY: GETTING STARTED (LAA 0001): Find your roots! Start your search now. Steve Szabados draws from his genealogical research expertise to describe the resources available for finding your ancestors and their histories. Both Internet and archival research efforts are covered. Steve is a genealogy lecturer and author. He has given numerous presentations to genealogical groups in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin. Steve has traced his own ancestors back to 1600s New England and 1730s Europe.

GENEALOGY: ADVANCED RESEARCH (LAA 0002): If you are ready to take the next step in your genealogy research, you will benefit from this course, which covers advanced techniques including DNA options that will enable you to overcome research barriers. You will learn a proven process for finding your European roots. Steve Szabados is a genealogy lecturer and author with extensive experience researching both American and European roots.

GENEALOGY: EUROPEAN IMMIGRATION TO AMERICA 1800 TO 1940 (LAA 0003): When did your ancestors immigrate? Where did they leave from? Why did they emigrate, and how did they get here? This presentation reviews European history and gives some insights to possible answers to questions about your European ancestors immigration. The material may clear up confusion about where and why your ancestors left. Stephen Szabados is a successful genealogy researcher, lecturer, and author. He has given numerous presentations to genealogical groups and libraries in the Midwest, and he writes a monthly column for the Polish American Journal.
